  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 untreated cedar planks (12x6 inches)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak cedar planks in water for at least one hour to prevent burning.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium heat (350°F).
  5. Place marinated salmon skin-side down on soaked cedar planks.
  6. Grill with the lid closed for 15-20 minutes until salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
