Ingredients
Scale
1 lb fresh white fish (e.g., tilapia or cod)
8 soft corn tortillas
2 cups shredded green cabbage
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 ripe avocado, diced
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
Instructions
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
In a bowl, mix cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture on both sides of the fish fillets.
Grill the fish for 4-5 minutes on each side until it is opaque and flakes easily. Flip gently to avoid breaking.
Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side until soft.
Set up a toppings bar with shredded cabbage, diced avocado, chopped cilantro, lime wedges, and sour cream or Greek yogurt.
Once grilled fish has slightly cooled, break into bite-sized pieces and layer onto each tortilla with desired toppings.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the fish in lime juice and spices for up to an hour before grilling.
Try swapping the white fish for shrimp or tofu for a different twist.
Consider adding mango salsa or pickled onions as additional toppings.
