  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Freshly cracked pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, maple syrup, minced garlic, olive oil, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and a golden crust forms.
