Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. If using frozen shrimp, thaw under cold water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet; season with salt and pepper. Cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
