Mini Pizza Explosions are bite-sized treats filled with gooey cheese and savory toppings, perfect for any gathering or snack attack.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 20 slices pepperoni
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick and cut into small squares or circles.
  3. Place a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each piece, top with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and bell peppers.
  4. Fold and seal the dough around the filling; pinch edges securely or crimp with a fork.
  5. Arrange on the baking sheet, brush lightly with olive oil, and sprinkle with oregano and basil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
