Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef with onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly by hand until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture around skewers into compact sausage shapes to prevent falling apart during cooking.
  3. Chill the formed kebabs in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and grill kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until well-browned and cooked through.
  5. Allow resting briefly before serving with pita or over rice.
