  • 1 box brownie mix (18.4 oz)
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, pour half into the prepared pan, and bake for about 20 minutes until set but fudgy. Let cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually blend in sugar, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in sour cream and vanilla until combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and pour the mixture over the cooled brownie base. Drizzle with caramel sauce before baking for 50-60 minutes until edges are set.
  5. Allow to cool completely at room temperature before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight. Serve with additional caramel drizzled on top.

Notes

  •  For a richer flavor, substitute regular chocolate with dark chocolate.
  • Add a pinch of sea salt on top of the caramel for a sweet-salty twist.
