1 lb ground turkey
4 cups green cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrots, grated
4 green onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp black pepper
Sriracha (optional)
Instructions
Prep your ingredients by shredding the cabbage and carrots and mincing the garlic and ginger.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil. Sauté garlic and ginger for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
Stir in cabbage and carrots; cook for another 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
Pour in soy sauce and sprinkle with black pepper (add Sriracha if desired). Stir for an additional couple of minutes until everything is coated.
Remove from heat and mix in chopped green onions. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
