Stovetop Creamy Ground Beef Pasta is a comforting, rich dish that comes together in just 30 minutes, making it an ideal choice for busy weeknights and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a dash of oil. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in Italian seasoning, then pour in heavy cream, scraping any flavorful bits from the pan. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy beef mixture, tossing until well coated. Add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as desired before serving hot.
