Ingredients
Scale
1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced
2 cups fresh broccoli florets
4 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch piece ginger, grated
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
Instructions
Slice the flank steak into thin strips against the grain. Chop the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and cornstarch until smooth.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add sliced beef in batches; cook until browned (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from pan.
Add broccoli and pour in water; cover for 2-3 minutes until bright green but crisp.
Return beef to the pan and drizzle with sauce; stir for another minute until everything is coated and glistening. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
Notes
Experiment by adding other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas for variety.
For added crunch, toss in some cashews or almonds just before serving.
