Ingredients
Scale
1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced
2 cups fresh broccoli florets
3 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch piece ginger, grated
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil (for stir-frying)
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Slice the flank steak against the grain and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add marinated beef in batches and sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
Toss in broccoli florets and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until bright green.
Pour any leftover marinade into the pan and cook for another minute until slightly thickened.
Notes
For added crunch, consider swapping broccoli with snap peas or bell peppers.
If you prefer a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes during cooking.
