Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry is a quick, flavorful dish that combines tender beef with vibrant broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for stir-frying)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Add marinated beef in batches and sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Toss in broccoli florets and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until bright green.
  6. Pour any leftover marinade into the pan and cook for another minute until slightly thickened.

Notes

  • For added crunch, consider swapping broccoli with snap peas or bell peppers.
  •  If you prefer a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes during cooking.
