Indulge in tender Salisbury Steak Meatballs smothered in rich gravy, perfect for family dinners or cozy evenings at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the meatballs for about 8-10 minutes until browned on all sides.
  4. Remove meatballs from the skillet. Pour in beef broth, scraping any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Stir in sour cream after bringing the broth to a simmer. Return meatballs to the skillet and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider mixing in diced vegetables such as bell peppers or carrots.
  • Substitute ground turkey for a lighter option while keeping the same savory profile.
