Ingredients
Scale
3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup pure maple syrup
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons olive oil
Fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary or thyme)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and clear space on your counter.
In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes.
Marinate the chicken in a zip-top bag with the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear each side of the marinated chicken for about 4 minutes until golden brown.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for approximately 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving with remaining glaze.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate overnight.
Substitute maple syrup with honey for a different sweetness.
Add roasted vegetables alongside chicken for a complete meal.
