Ingredients
Scale
1 lb lean ground chicken
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tbsp ranch dressing mix
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
4 brioche or whole wheat buns
1 cup lettuce leaves
1 medium tomato, sliced
2 tsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Gather all ingredients and finely chop the parsley.
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, ranch dressing mix, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into patties about 1 inch thick; make a small indentation in the center of each patty.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat or preheat your grill. Cook patties for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with cheddar cheese to melt.
Assemble by placing lettuce on the bottom half of each bun, adding a patty, tomato slices, and any additional ranch dressing before closing.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in diced jalapeños or using pepper jack cheese for a spicy kick.
You can substitute ground turkey for chicken if preferred.
