  • 1 lb lean beef strips (sirloin or flank steak)
  • 2 cups bell peppers (mixed colors, sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice beef against the grain.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Stir-fry beef until browned but not fully cooked (3-4 minutes).
  3. Add sliced onion and bell peppers; sauté until vibrant and slightly tender (about 5 minutes).
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Pour over beef and veggies in the pan.
  5. Simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes until beef is fully cooked.
  6. Serve hot over cooked jasmine rice, garnished with chopped green onions.
