  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl; let cool slightly.
  3. Stir in both sugars until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt; fold into wet ingredients gently.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, spaced two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are firm but centers remain soft. Allow to cool before serving.
