Crispy, homemade chicken nuggets that are easy to make and a guaranteed hit with the family. Perfectly seasoned and deliciously crunchy, these bites are sure to satisfy everyone’s cravings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Set up three bowls: one with flour mixed with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs combined with garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into uniform bite-sized pieces.
  3. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, dip it in the egg mixture (letting excess drip off), then coat it in the panko mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Fry the nuggets until golden brown on both sides (about 3-4 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, consider swapping panko breadcrumbs for crushed cornflakes.
  •  Marinate chicken pieces for an hour before breading for enhanced flavor.
  •  Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days; reheat in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 10 minutes.
