Cheesy Beef and Bowtie Pasta in Garlic Butter is a creamy, comforting dish that combines tender bowtie pasta, savory ground beef, and rich cheese—perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil the pasta: In a large pot of salted water, cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Sauté garlic and beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds, then add ground beef. Cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. 3. Create the sauce: Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and let simmer before adding cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  4. 4. Combine: Season with salt and pepper. Mix cooked bowtie pasta into the sauce until well coated.
  5. 5. Finish: Remove from heat, sprinkle with parsley and Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
  •  Add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
  •  Swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken if desired.
