Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  2. Stir in breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into four patties about ½ inch thick.
  4. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook each patty for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
